​                                  Mah Jongg at Joe's Pond

     Mah Jongg is a tile game played at 1:30pm on Wednesdays at the JPA pavilion during the summer months.  Weekly games begin the first Wednesday after Memorial Day, and played until the September chill sets in.
     The group was started in 2017 by Kate Chatot, who has been teaching Mah Jongg since 1994.  Kate teaches the National Mah Jongg League rules.  Since the rules are consistent within the National Mah Jongg League, once you learn the rules,  you can play with friends in other locations as well.  Kate is always willing and very patient to teach new players.  
     All playing levels are welcome. It's a great avenue for networking and meeting other people on the lake.... and it also keeps your brain healthy!
